Data we process

We may process technical data sent by your browser, such as IP address, browser type and version, operating system, time, pages visited, and visit source; browsing and interaction data measured by Google Analytics 4, such as pages and events viewed, approximate duration, device, source, and cookie identifiers; and information you choose to include in an email. Your language preference is also saved in browser local storage to manage a language suggestion.

Cookies and services

Google Analytics 4 uses first-party cookies, such as _ga and _ga_*, to distinguish visits and produce audience statistics. The site tag disables Google signals and ads personalization and limits those cookies to 180 days, subject to Analytics account settings. Your privacy preference is stored in the browser. Cloudflare hosts, delivers, and secures the site and may process IP addresses and technical logs. The Google follow button and links to Spotify, GitHub, LinkedIn, and social networks open external services when clicked.

Cookie choices

For visits Cloudflare classifies as originating in Brazil, Google Analytics may run from the start to measure audience under legitimate interests. A notice lets you turn it off immediately. For every other region, including the UK and Europe, it stays off until you affirmatively accept. If location cannot be determined, we use the more restrictive choice. We use only the country code associated with your IP for this decision and do not send the IP to your browser; VPNs and networks can make location inaccurate. “Cookie preferences” in the footer lets you change your choice at any time. A saved objection does not expire automatically; a saved acceptance expires within 180 days. On opt-out, we stop future measurement and attempt to delete this domain’s analytics cookies. Data already collected remains subject to applicable retention.

Purposes and legal grounds

We process technical data needed to operate and secure the site, prevent abuse, and diagnose errors under legitimate interests and, where relevant, legal obligations. We use audience reports to understand useful content and improve the site: in Brazil we rely on legitimate interests for limited measurement, with notice and objection; outside Brazil we activate Google Analytics only after consent. We use email messages to reply and handle requests. We do not use site browsing data for automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

Sharing and international transfers

Service providers may process data to support the site, including Cloudflare (hosting, delivery, and security) and Google (Analytics 4), and the email provider used to reply to messages. These providers may process data in other countries; where applicable, the mechanisms and safeguards required by relevant laws must be used. Once you open an external link, the destination service's privacy practices apply.

Retention

Analytics cookies set by this site last up to 180 days, subject to browser settings and deletion. An objection is remembered until you change it or erase this browser’s data; acceptance is renewed after up to 180 days. Analytics data already received and infrastructure logs follow the retention settings of those services, which we will review periodically. We keep emails as needed to respond, document requests, protect rights, and meet legal obligations.

Your rights

Under Brazil's LGPD, you may request confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymization, blocking, deletion where available, portability where applicable, information about sharing, review of automated decisions, objection, and withdrawal of consent. Where GDPR/UK GDPR or another local law applies, additional rights may include restriction of processing and a complaint to your supervisory authority. Send requests to the contact on this page. We may request reasonable information to verify your identity and will respond within applicable legal deadlines.

Children

This site provides general informational content and has no user accounts. We do not intentionally request children’s personal data. If a child or adolescent emails us personal information, contact us so we can assess the request under their best interests and applicable law.

Security and changes

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the site and processed data. No internet transmission or storage can be guaranteed absolutely secure. This policy may change when the site, services, or applicable law change; the date at the top shows the latest review.
